Inventory of assets
Talking to a friend who is a licensed counselor and pastor, he reminisced about his time in the restaurant business. Sunday night required an accurate inventory of everything in the place, including the salt shakers. We played with the idea of getting an accurate inventory of people and their assets including the good and perceived bad. It’s interesting that even the bad, or maybe especially the bad, has a positive influence on one’s assets. See, your strength comes from lessons learned, and the bad stuff contains the lessons learned.
In our work in the Squeeze Your Stories membership site and in the live workshops, we dabble a bit in asset inventory. We don’t make you feel bad in any way. We show you how to believe in yourself positively. A change in perspective creates a change in perception.
