Threads

Based on the railroad analogy, the ties are all connected by the rail. In other words, the stories of your past are all connected by life itself – your life. If you study your stories, you find multiple connections. We call them threads. In our Squeeze Your Stories program, we go into detail about following threads. They make connections based on relevance to some stories and not to others.

Try this: Who was your favorite teacher in elementary school? In high school? In church? Where an why were they your favorites?

I would call this your favorite teacher thread.

This exercise can take you lots of places, including family history, a different look at your present circumstances, or even a look at your legacy.
